Ganging up on gangs
City wants to make sure it doesn't follow in Edmonton's footsteps in gang member recruitment
Ottawa and Edmonton may be similar in population, but they vary greatly in the number of street gang members.
While the city would like to keep it that way, the federal government won't fund a two-year training and research initiative to prevent youth from joining gangs.
